The grid of clouds seen on the satin – found footage from the internet and books – was hand colored with a special glaze made off egg white. This technique was used at the beginning of the 20th century to bring black and white photographs closer to the experienced reality. Based on the work PINK, ALMOST ORANGE, the artist refers to the childhood memories of a woman from 1945.
