Since 1901, the Jewish National Fund, using the slogan “for a greener Israel,” has planted more than 240 million trees – many of them European – that were never native to the region. In “Take Me Home,” archival images of the “before” and “after” of the thus-created large-scale forests of Israel are juxtaposed; accompanied by the Hebrew version of the hit “Country Roads, Take me Home.”
