The artistic research project “Telawif” investigates the shaping and transformation of cultural identities of German-speaking female immigrants in pre-state Israel through the process of food preparation. Starting Point is the cookbook “How to cook in Palestine? (1936) by Dr. Erna Meyer. A site-specific installation, lecture performance and dinner were developed for the Liebling Haus in Tel Aviv.
