Starting point of this artistic research project are the cookbooks “Koch schnell und frisch für den Sommertisch” (1931) and “How to cook in Palestine” (1936). Both were written by Dr. Erna Meyer, who was involved in the Werkbund exhibition Die Wohnung in Stuttgart in 1927 as a home economics advisor and emigrated to Palestine as a Jew in 1933. The recipes reveal the political upheaval of two states.
